John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Salvation is needed for everyone who has ever been or will ever be born on the earth. Salvation is the process through which a person is reconciled to God. God created human beings in Genesis 1:26a-27 (King James Version): “And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”
Then Genesis 2:7 says: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” Further Genesis 2:21-22 records “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.”
This is the record of how human beings came into existence. They were made male and female by God, and they were called Adam and Eve. They were loved by God!
Adam and Eve sinned when they were disobedient to God. Genesis 3 recounts their “fall” into disobedience. Through their interactions in Genesis 3:1-7, Adam and Eve listened to the serpent, which represented Satan. In listening to Satan, they disobeyed God, and it resulted in the fall.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they plunged themselves and all future descendants (all humans) into sin (Romans 3:23). Their sin separated them (and all humans) from the interconnected relationship that they had with God. (Genesis 3:8)
In Genesis 3:14-19, God gives Adam and Eve as well as the serpent, the consequences for their disobedience. Specifically, in V15 – God tells the serpent “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
This reference to the women’s seed bruising the serpent’s head was the foreseen process by which God would reconcile the descendants of Adam and Eve back to Himself. The Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is the One who bruised Satan’s head and accomplished the goal of reconciling humans to God. We only need to accept it; accept what He did for us!
John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus Christ died on behalf of Adam, Eve, and their descendants (us).
God’s plan of salvation or reconciliation has already been accomplished by the suffering, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ – the Messiah. Jesus Christ paid the price, and God now offers the free gift of salvation to all people.
Will you accept God’s free gift of salvation?
Say this prayer aloud:
Father, I recognize that I have sinned just like Adam and Eve, and I need a Savior to become reconciled to You. Today, I repent of my sins. I ask You to cleanse me of my sins. I invite you to come into my heart and become my Lord and Savior. Help me to live my life for Your glory as I go forward and never backward, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Congratulations! You are now a reconciled child of God. You have become redeemed by the precious blood of the Messiah – the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let me pray for you:
Father, in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I seal Your children to Your Word by the power of the Holy Spirit. May they grow to be purpose-filled children of God. May You protect them as they walk with You. Open their eyes that they may see, open their ears that they may hear, and open their hearts that they may perceive and receive the truth that You share in Your Word. Draw them close so that they may know that you fully love them. Lead and release them into the direction that You would have them to go in. Amen!
